Some bags are good for one thing. The Betty is good for everything. It's the bag that goes to the beach with the whole family, comes home full of wet towels and sandy snacks, and still looks like itself. The one that fits in the overhead bin on the way out and gets checked in on the way back because you bought too much. The one that, once you have it, you can't imagine not having.

This one though, it's quite special. It's a collaboration we made with our friend Lise Van Schoor. We brought bag the Leather Betty in Butterscotch canvas, added your initials embroidered in lilac, matching lilac lining and replaced the Mzuzu strap for one of our newest Bombon Wavy strap. We are in love!

Made in our Cape Town studio from durable 100% cotton canvas with soft leather handles, the Betty is as practical as it is beautiful. The generous open-top design means you can pack it fast and find things easily, no wrestling with zips when you're wrangling kids, beach bags or a weekend's worth of life. An inside pocket keeps the things you actually need close, and the long sling means you can carry it hands-free when the day demands it.

At 84cm wide, it holds more than you think it will. Customers have described it as the Mary Poppins bag — there always seems to be room for one more thing. It folds down flat when it's empty, making it perfect to pack inside another bag for the trip home when you've inevitably bought too much.
